The Rotorua Chamiber of Commerce and iRietailers' Association at its annuai meeting last evening! unanimously passed a motion that urgent representations he made to the member for. the district t0 have steps taken to raise the level of Lake Rotorua in order to stimulate thermal activity and increase the attractions of the district. The opinion was generally expressed that the level of the lake had direct connection with the activity of the geysers and that thermal activity could be greatly increased by raising the water.
