GIFT TO LIFEBOAT SERVICE

ANNUAL COLLECTION. The fishwives of Cullercoats, in INorthumib erland, England, recently sent £167 83 as 'a gift to the lifeboat s.ervice. This was the annual coillecion which they have now made every August for the last 12 years, and they have now collected £1572. Mrs. Polly Donkin, who- was. presented by th'e Prince of Wales two years ago with a igold b!adge of the Royal National Lifeboat Ins.titutio-n, and is now 76 years1 old, collected over £73. She has now collected over £501, or very nearly a third of the total.
