ADJOURNMENT PROPOSED TO PREPARE A NEW CONVENTION FURTHER DELAY POSSIBLE Rugby, Oct. 25. The bureau of the Disarmament Conference met this afternoon at Genevd. The ehairman, Mr. A. Henderson, proposed that tlae meeting of the general commission of the Disarmament Conf erence; should, at its meeting to-morrow adjourn until Deeember 4 and reeommend the drafting eommittee to prepape a model convention embodying Sir John Simon's latest proposal before the work of the fconference is i-esumed.
