A WONDERFUL STATION OPENED AT LYMPNE AERODROME

London, October 25. Following prolonged and secret tests of the micro-wave, the Air MJinistry has opened a wonder wireless station at Lympne. It transhiits on 17» centimetres and the aerials are only an inch long. Signals, focussed in bearn, were Teceived at the Stin'glevert aerodrome, France, where a transmitter was also installed enahling twoway wireless conversation. } ^Weather reports will ibe instantly ^^rhanged to assist aviation. This jfisf one of the first praetical applica&ons of the investigation of the mysterious micro-wave.
