I — ~ BAY OF PLENTY ASSOC'ATION CONSIDER ARRANGEMENTS I FOR SEASON ANNIVERSARY DAY MATCH A meeting of the Bay of Plenty Cricket Association was held on Tuesday evening to consider business in connection with the present season, Mr. H. L. Musgrave presiding. A letter was received from the secretary, North Taranaki Cricket Association, stating that his body was endeavouring to arrange an art union for the benefit of minor associations and asking that the Bay forward a jcopy of the previous year's balance sheet. It was decided to forward tbe required statement as requested. - . The secretary, New Zealand Cricket Council wrote asking that the association send a delegate to attend a biennial conference to be held at Christchurch on .November 8 and 9. The meeting decided that the expense would not justify the sending of a delegate, but Mr. L. H. Gresham advised that he would represent the Bay Association during a visit to Christchurch, and his offer was accepted. The secretary was instructed to communicate with the Bay of Plenty Sub-Association • in an endeavour to arrange a match for Anniversary Day, January 29, 1934. It was suggested that a Rotorua team play the rest of the Bay of Plenty, or alternately that a Bay of Plenty team play a match against Waikato.
