(Rec. 11 p.m.) Canberra, Oct. 25. The Minister of Customs, Mr. White, tabled the piroposed ; trade agreement w'ith New Zealand in* the House of Representatives to-day. He said that the agre'ement safeguarded the interestS of Australian- primary industries and provided substantial benefit for secondary industries. !Most of " Australia's trade with New Zealand were in secondary * products whieh depended almost • wholely on pref erences ;whieh* the agreement ensured. ? . •
