Melbourne, Oct. 24. The strike at the export meatworks in the metropolitan area collapsed when the slaughtermen and labourers affected decided by a large majority to accept the conditions as outlined by the exporters. These conditions include the team system of killing. It is not likely that many of the strikers will be Te-engaged as most of tbe volunteers are already well established at the various works. (Rec. 8.50 p.m.) Melbourne, Octobfir 24 Workers in .the meat industry by 261 votes, deelared the strike off.
