The Daily Mail "in a leader entitled "France Must Not Disarm," says that the British nation raust frankly consider whether the vague, dubious obligations of Locarno should be changed into a defensive alliance, between Britain and France. The German claim t.o equality of armaments must he admitted sooner or later and they would be better conceded now without further arguments A disarmed France would probably mean war in a few months time.
