BRIDE PARTY
IN AID OF HIGH SCHOQL ASSEMiBLY HALL PUND. In order to supplemient the funds already subscribed for the High Sohool assiemibly hall, Mrs:. S. H. Hay held a most enjoyable bridge evening at her home in Fenton- St. last Tuesday evening. The rooms were beautifully deconated with lilac, gerbena and oth'er spring flowers, and to receive her guests ith'e hoatess wore- a smart bridge gown of cherry panne velvet. Prognessive bridge Was played, the winner being Mrs. C. - Young, while Mrs. J. Speer received the consolation prize. Among those present were: — Mirs. A. G. Holiand, Mirs. H. Hamilton, Mrs. F. C. Bunyard, Mrs. E. Roe, Mrs. E. La Trobe Hill, MJrfe. A. F. Budd, Mrs. j. Speer, Mrs. J. H. Herrold, Mrs. W. Somlmerville, Mrs. A. V. P. Ford, Mrs. L. J. Bayfeild, Mrs. J. M. Roberts, Mrs." F. Thompson, Mrs. C. Young, Miss E. Campbell, Miss M. McKenzie.
