CHEESE RESULTS
' GOVERNOR-GENERAL'S TROPHY Wellington, Wednesday The New Zealand Dairy Board has been advised of the following results for cheese in the colonial section' in the London Dairy Show: — There were 27 entries, eighteen being from New Zealand, seven from Australia, and two from South Africa: First — .and the Hansen and Bledisloe Colonial and New Zealand Cups — iKelso Dairy Company, Otago, New Zealand. Eecond — and reserve — Hansen and Bledisloe Colonial Cup — Downs Dairy Company, Lilyvale (Queensland). Third and reserve Bledisloe and New Zealand Cup — Awarua Dairy Company, Southland, New Zealand. Fourth — (Fairfax Dairy Company, Southland. Highly commended — (Waianiwa Dairy Company, Southland; Downs Dairy Company, Wyreema (Queensland). iComlm'ended — Wright's Bush Dairy Company, Southland; Lowgarth Diariry Company, Taranaki; Kingwill Company, South Africa; Warrnambool Dairy Company, Vietoria. It was announced in July of this year that Lord Bledisloe had presented two handsomie and valuable trophies for cheese exhibits at the National Dairy Show, which is held at London in October every year, one of the trophies ds for the best cheese produced in any Empire country, and the other for the best cheese among entries from New Zealand alone. The New Zealand trophy is also regarded as a district prize, th'e districts for the purpose being Auckland Taranaki, Wellington, Hawkes Bay, Canterbury, Otago and Sonthland.
