Wellington, Wednesday Immediate and substantial reductions in the duties upon Britisihi goods followed hy the removal of the balance of the duties at the rate of 25 per cent a year was advocated by the New Zealand' Meat Producers' Board in t'he course of lengthy evidence submitted to the Tariff Commission today hy Sir William Hunt, a member of the board.
