(Rec. 10.20 p.m.) Rabaul (New Guinea), Oct. 16. A 'plane owned by tbe Rabaul Airways Syndicate crasbed at Kokqpo. Mrs. Graham Mjrfield,' a, po- i pular iuember of Rabaul society, was killed ahd Ker husband, who was also a passeriger in tbe machine was seriously injured'. The pilot, Captain W. Duncanj formerly of the Royal Air Force, was slightly injured.
