A slight secondary depression cpossed the south of New Zealand today. Winds: North-westeriies to westerlies south of New Plymouth and Napier otherwise north-westerlies prevailing. Weather: Mainly cool and fair to cloudy but with scattered showers in some districts. Fcllowing are the barometrrt maxlmum and minimum thermometer, sunshine, and rainfall readings recorded at the Gov.ernment Observation Statjon by the Rotorua Tourist Department for the 24 hours ended at 9.30 a.m. yesterday.
