Napier Trams

The long-defibated question of whether or not Napier should restore its abandoned tramway service is now wdthin si'ght of being finally answered. The tramway suh-committee set up by the Napier Borough Council to inquire into the financial and general position of the system, has had several meetings within th'e past two weeks, and as the result of their meeting on Thursday night the commi'ttee will now proceed to take evidenee from those persons who have expressed themselves as being desirous of stating the case for and against the reintroduction of the service.
