SATURDAY'S MATCHES
A somewhat daphted field set out under misena.ble climatic conditions in a four-ball bogey match on Saturday. The fairways were good but with little run and the greens tricky and heavy. The winner's card was, under the circumstances, exceedingly good. Those who subs'tantially defeated bogey were M(. D. Carr and W. S. Anderson, 6 up and Spedding Jun. and H. Parata, 2 up.
