New York, October 12. At Laurel, Mr. Polson told the Australian press to-day: "I am very well pleased with the conditions for next o Friday's race. I am grateful to the Laurel management for making the conditions read 101b below the scale. My horse will carry 8st 81b. He is a good weight carrier. It is my sincere hope that Winooka will meet a higli class field next Friday." Winooka was given a light workout this morning when he went threequarters of a mile handily, being held hard throughout. The horse will be worked at Laurel on Satnrday between the raees with his colours up.
