MINIATURE RIFLE CLUB HOLDS SECDND ANNUAL FUNCTION. attractiviei decorations One of the most enjoyable of the annual balls to be held this year took . place in the Ritz Cabaret oh Wednesday night, when the Rotorua Miniature Rifle Club held its seeond annual dance. Giving a bolder note to the pastelshadefi decorations of the ballroom were nUmerous large bUllseyes placed at intervals aro.und the walls, while pink cherry blossom and greenery" created a soft attractive backgroUnd. The decorations on Itne supper tables reflected great credit upon the artistic talent of the energetic committee, the colouring scheme featuring red, white and blue. Gilded candlps with rhse sh'ades affqrdeb a suhdued lighting effect on ithg tables, while large bowls of red tulips, white fruit folossomy and blue irises left nothing to be desjred in fioral decoration. The catering was in the eapable hands of Mr. F. Oldham and gay music, both modern and old-time, was supplied by tfie Ritz Orchestra. The ladies of ihe committee present were: — M|iss R.
