LARWOOD REVOLTS

(Press Assn.-

IF PICKED WILL BOWL BODY-LINE AS USUAL LITTUEi CHANCE TO PLAY

— By Telegraph— Copyright).

London, October 11. Larwood told the Daily Express that Marylebone's cable to the Board of Control was igood except that it was not definite about the leg theory. He said: "If I am picked for the Test match.es I shall bowl the Kg theory when the wicket is suitable unless expressly ordered not to do so, and l do not think that Mlarylebone will order me or anyone olse not to bowl with a packed leg trap. "I see tbat Bradman is reported to have said that the cables mean he will not encounter bodyline bowling in future. All I can say is if. Bradman comes here in 1934 he may •be surprised. I do not think Marylebone rules out the leg theory." "If I am' selected for England, and Marylebone instruct me not to "bowl the fast leg theory, I shall refuse to play. There has been far too much bad blood over the whole business. Wihile I am glad the dispute is now happily settled I cannot help feeling I haye been le't down. My conscience is as clear to-day as when I left for Australia." "Larwood added: "Unless I have-an-other operation shortly I shall never be able to bowl again. My foot hurts acutely after any long walk. It is no hetter -than when I first hurt it in Australia."
