MANY POSSIBLES SCORED AT NEW SOUTH WALES CHAMPIONSHIPS Sydney, October 10. There are nearly 1000 competitors at the rifle championship rneeting at Lverpool. Shooting is keen and many possibles have been recorded. The Foy match, 10 shots at 300 yards, was won by Morris, of Goulburn, the best of nine possibles. Of the New Zealanders J. C. Carter was 66th and H. L. Lucena 112th (with 48) and they took £1 each. In Le Maitre match, 10 shots at 600, Phillips (Melbourne) was the ibest of eight possibles. Lucena was 67th, with 48 and took £1. In the Le Maitre match, 10 shots 700 yards, Painter, of Goulburn, was the best of five possibles. In the Paine aggregate, being the best score of these three matehes, Treadwell, of Melbourne, made 147 and eight others 146. The weather is boisterous at times.
