TRUST BOARD UNANIMOUSLY APPOINTS MR. T. RIGG Nelson, Tuesday. Mr. Theodore Rigg", who has been appointed director of the Cawthron Institute, in succession t'o Professor Easterfield (retired), worked for a time at the Rothamsted Experimental Station under the guidance of Sir John Russell. He acted as director of the North Island soil reconnaissai*ie survey during the first three years. He is the author of many papers dealing with soils, pastures and fertilisers. . The appointment was by the unanimous decision of the Cawthron Trust Board.
