Abattoir Report

The report of the .ahattoir manager. submitted to Friday nighPs meeting of the Ro/torua Borough C'ouncil, stated that during the month of Septemher there were killed for human cojisumption within the ahattoir area: 85 cows, 48 ox, 6 heifers, 7 calves, 714 sheep, 5 lambs and 80 pigs. Pour cows were partially eondemned for tuherculosis and orie partially condemned, being bruised. Five pigs were partially condemned for tuherculosis and one partially condemned for arthfitis. One sheep was wholly condemned foi> peritonitis. One sheep was partially condemned for pleurisy and one for arthritis.
