THE BANK BILL
FINANCE MINISTER SAYS NO MATERIAL CHANGE INTENDED WILL CONSULT CAUCUS • (Press Assn.— By Telegraph— Copyright). - Mellington, Saturday. In a statement issued to-day the Hon. J. G. Coates, MSnister of Finance, said: "In view of the various speculations circulating about possible changes that the Government is making in the Central Reserve Bank Bill I should like it to be known definit'ely that no decisions have been arrive d at. Many representation's have been made taj and considered by the Government, and the Caucus, hut as yet there has been nothing drafted. In fact, after other interested parties have been consulted another Caucus Will be held for the further discussion of any possible changes if these should prove necessary and desirable. I may say that the Bill will remain substantially as first presented as far as its general principles are coneerned. There will he no major changes in the method of working the Reserve Bank — the main principla's -vyill be there. In the meantime I can make no statement regarding any minor alterations, because nothing has been decided upon."
