vessels return from their spring cruise

Sydney, October ^ . The Australian Fleet has returned from its spring cruise. Referring to the publislied reports that the H.M.A.S. Canberra and the H.M'.A.S. Australia were officially on the sea floor in Cook S'trait, one officer protested that it wa£ impossible to say whether the last nianoeuvre resulted in victory for them or for the New Zealand ships, 1I.M.S. Diomede and H.M.S. Dunedin, until the facts were collated and analysed by the respective commands.
