BENGALI SWIMMER STAYS IN WATER OVER 78 HOURS

(Rec. 9.25 p.m.) Calcuttzi, Sept.. 27. Profulla Ghose, a well-known Bengali swimmer, established a swimming endurance record of 72 hours 18 minutes beating by 15 minutes the Empire endurance record previously held by a Maori woman. His trainer says that Ghose was good for another five hours. His heart, pulse and breathing were normal. It. was raining heavily most of the time and the water was cold. ■
