ACTIVE DEMAND London, Sept. 25. At the wool saies 10,278 bales were offered, including' 7219 of New Zealand. Approximately 9360 bales were sold. There was active home and continental competition at full late rates. Merinos, greasy: New South Wales, 18d; Victorian, 16&d; Western Australian, 13 ld. Seoured: Queensland, 25Jd; New Zealand "Glenthorne" top price 28d, average 26 3-8d. Greasy crossbred: New Zealand, top 12£d, average 8 7-8d. At Bradford, merinos are very quict and any change in prices favours buyers. Crossbreds are steady.
