WINQOKA NOW MAY BE TAKEN TO ENGLAND AND FRANCE

(Rec. 11.5 p.m.) New York, Sept. 24. Mr. Naylor, pai't owner of Winooka says that the horse will be taken from Seattle to-night to Havre de Grace (Maryland). No definite engagement has 'been contracted but the horse may make an exhibition appearance on September 30 and challenge Equipoise the same day to a seven furlong race on October 14 notwithstanding the statements made by the owner of Equipoise, Mr. Whitney. Mr. Naylor says that he will demand a match race. Failing acceptance, he may take the horse to race against the champions of England and France. Mr. W. Polson, the trainer, states that the horse is in excellent form and is certain to break the world's record from six furlongs to a mile.
