I have heard quite a lot of nice things about this Sunday Sch'ool concert of yours land I really think Colleen will have to go and see for herself. I will remember where you told me where I might buy a ticket. Rosemary, Victoria St. — It is always encouraging to find my new members writing so regularly, Rosemary and I hope" I shall hear from ! you very often. Peter Pan, Tutanekai St Two letters, all my very own, this week from you Peter, and how I loved reading them both. I think you must he a veryvery unselfish little boy to think of spending your prize in the way you 'told me. It must have given Daddy such a lot of pleasure. I loved reading all about your trip to Atiamuri. What a jolly day you must have had! Bluebell, Pukuatua St. — So you were another of my Kosy Korner members who went for that delightful trip to Okere, Bluebell? Sorry you did not manage the competition this week; I hope you will enter next week. ... Frances Clay, Meade St. — Such a nice letter, Frances,. telling me all about that wonderful visit of yours to Auckland, and I don't wonder you felt satisfied with' all the good things ' that the city can provide. I just loved your poem. Boy Blue, Maida Vale St. — Yes, I did go to the Daffodil "At Home," Boy Blue, and thought the flowers were beautiful. Once again, how delightfully artistic the way you illustrate your. entries. I begin to wonder each week what next wtek's picture will be. j Red Rose, Union St. — I hope you liked your hook, Red Rose, which you thoroughly deserved after working" so hard in the new membership competition. So glad you like the merit cards. I hope Blue Bird is feeling better now. Colleen is always very sorry to hear of any of her members 'being sick. Smiler, Whaka Roiad. — Ah, I see we have found another enthusiastic angler in you Smiler. Strong Oak has suggested a trip to Rotoiti one day for all the K.K.K. fishermen, so then will be a very good time to make use of those flies you were telling me about. \ Red Riding Hood, Whaka Road. — ! What a very jolly h'oliday you spent j at Te Whetu, Red Riding Hood. It j is hard to settle down to school lessons , after such a lovely time in the coun- I try, isn't it? Thank you so much for the kisses. Happy, Wylie St. — Too bad that the old car should choose to misbehave for" your trip to Te Awamutu, Happy, but no doubt you enjoyed "Ben Hur" .almost as much. I was very interested when you said you played golf; isn't it a fascinating game? Golden Wings, Wylie St. — I should , suggest that you go as a night fairy to the fancy dress ball, Golden Wings. j I have a very soft spot for fairies and j I'm sure you would make a very , dainty one. Why, one could even go J under your own pen-name, as it sounds very much like a fairy title. ... Muffit, Jam.cs St. — A very pretty poem, Muffitv Anybody with just a small imagination could appreciate the pretty picture you painted in • words. I wish your Sunday school concert every success and hope you will write and tell me all about it. Peppercorn, Ngongotaha. — So glad you have written me such a very in- ' teresting letter this week, Peppercorn. I was immensely interested in your description of your trip. What a lovely day you must have had. Snowdrop, Old Taupo Road. — I was ever so sorry to hear that you have been ill, Snowdrop, and am, so glad it is all a thing of the past now. I know you must be very busy with old Mr. Proficiency looming over the horizon. When you do happen to have a spare minute, Colleen would love you to write to her. Fairy Sunlight, Pukuatua St. — Another of my Kosy Korner members 'who has been ill. I shall have to see what our K.K.K. medico can prescribe
to' keep away nasty old measuies and sore throats. A very pretty little poem, Fairy Sunlight. Princess Pat. — You have not yet called for your hook prize1; it is still at the office. Have you forgotten? Syringa, Old Taupo Road. — Yes, we did have at lot of new members last week, didn't we ? No, I didn't have a lieadache; I was too excited over the rapid groWth of our bigr family for that. Many thanks for the jokes, Syringa. William the Conqueror, Rotokawa. — I am ever sp' glad to hear that you like the merit cards, William and I hope you'll win quite a lot more. Gqodnes's, we have quite a little band of keen K.K.K. fishermen. I'm sure " you and Strong Oak would he kindred spirits in this sport. Roxane, Tarewa Road.— Yes, your entry reached Kosy Korner quite safely, Roxape, and I was so xpleased to hear you are so interested in onr K.K.K., also that you liked the merit cards. t Robin Hootl, Whakaue St.— I quite under stand' Rohin, how busy you m,ust be with home le'ssons, but whenever you have U little time Colleen will always welcopie a letter.
