Dear Colleen, — The h'alf-crown came in very useful on Saturday for on Sunday it was father's birthday. And I gave my baby sister threepence to buy cigarette papers, and sixpence to my older sister to buy a pair of shoelaces. And one and sixpence for a tin of tobacco for father and he was very ' pleased with his presents, for they were all useful. So he gave us all a chocolate each. I was glad t0 see that the little girl got the prize hook and hope she had a nice time reading it. And I found I had my answers all right too, but were in a bit later than hers. But I cannot win every week, and was just as pleased myself. To-day we went to Atiamuri in the car and had a lovely time. Busy Bee nearly caught a white rabbit with a black tail, and also Busy Bee drove some of the "way home and we saw a lot of hares. On the way down we nearly ran into a big fat pi'g; With' love from
