DESTROYED BY FIRE
Ottawa, Sept. 22. At Valley Fields, Quebec, the Roman Catholic cathedral, valued at 600,000 dollars and the convent of the Sisters of Mary and Jesus, valued at 1.000,000, were destroyed by fire early on Friday Fire hundred pupils and nuns were rushed to safety. There were no deaths.
