TO-NIGHT. In a notably strong supportizig cast, Merzzia. Kennedy, the lovely redhaired star of "Red-Haired Alibi," plays the title role in a znanner that disting,uishes her. This became evident last night, when the picture • opened at the Grand Theatre. In the leading masculine role Theodor vozz Eltz lezids adznirable support. Others whose work was the subject of favourable comment are Grant Withers, Purnell Pratt, Huntley Gordon, Fred Kelsey, Arthur Hoyt, John Vossburgh, Marion Lessing, Shirley Teznple and Paul Porcassi. In the second feature, Buck Jones, the greatest Western star of the movies, goes back sixty years to the hectic days in America at the close of the Civil War, when various large arzned bands made a battleground of that territory, in "Treason."
