minister announces THE allocations td date Wellington, Thulsday The Minister of Internal Affairs announces the allocation of the proceeds of the last art union, amounting to £10,000, as follows: — Distress relief, £5000; Home of Compassion, Wellington, £300; Smith Family, Wellington, £250; Whangarei Agrietxltural and Pastoral Society, £1000; Hamilton Y.M.C.A., £800; Caxiterbury Oflflcei's' Club, £250; Franklin Agricultural and Pastoral Society, £500; Egmont National Park Board Committee, £800; Soiith African Veterans' Associatioh, £250; Mangonui Agricultural aiid Pastoral jfSdlciety, £500; Wellsford Agricultural and Pastoral Society, £350.
