COLLEEN'S LETTER

Dear Kiddies, This is really a record. week for us in many-ways. We have passed the 100 mark for members and we have added a record number for the week. The page is growing splendidly and you can all feel proud for you are doing it all yourselves. Many other r> childrens' pages are largely made up of outside contributions but I want to keep our page for our members. Several grown-ups have been very v kind to us and have given special// prizes which I am keeping for appro- . priate competitions. This week, the'J,: special prizes go to the two winner^ , in the new members' competitioii. In order to save our money for prizes I would like prize winners, in future, to call at the Morning Post office any day af ter Friday to collect their prizes. Of course these will be posted in tbe case of members living out of town. My mail-bag is growing every week and it has become so large that I have been compelled to reduce my answers in size. But all letters and contributions will still be acknowledged. Whenever possible I will answer letters as fully as space will allow. At last we have got our merit cards and these will be sent out this week to all those whose- names have been mentioned on the honours board. I do hope that you will all like them. I hope also that the competitions this week will prove interesting and that Mr. Postmah even has to got an extra bag for me. There was such a heap of new members that I have quite run out of ■ membership certificates so that I am afraid that some of you will have to wait for a week until the busy Piinterman finds time to make us some more. !
