NEW ZEALAND MOTOR CO'S iGARAGE BADLY GUTTED Gisborne, Friday. Local enterprise suffered >a set-back this morning when a garage occupied by the . New Zealand Motor Manufacturing Co., which has its headquarters at Gisborne, was ex.tensively gutted by fire. Two cars being- completed hy the company as demonstration units were practically demolished, hut a smaller model, not yet completed, escaped > Three other cars which were in the garage for repairs were substantially dama;ged, and the fire also took toll of expensive machinery recently installed. • * The insurance on the contents totalled £2535.
