BXG SNATCHED FROM GIRL

(Rec. 10.35 p.m.) Sydney, Sept. 15. A thief at NewcastTe to-day snatched a haridbag containi'ng £400 in cheques ahd £60 in cash from a girl employed in a local prodiice store. The girl was takin'g the Woii'ey to the bank when 'k yoizng 'fhan standing on the paveriient suddenly leapt forward', snat'ched th'e bag, tossed the girl aside, and ■decaihped on a motor-cycle.
