winner of motor car in wellington raffle missing

Christchurch, Wdnesday. So far the motor car which was raffled in aid of the Wellington St. John Ambulance fund has not been claimed although the winning ticket was sold in Christchurch. There have been seventeen applications from people who claimed they held the winning ticket but lost it, The organisers have decided that unless the winning ticket is produced in the next forteen days the car will be offered to the Mayor of Christchurch for disposal at auction, 'the proceeds to go to the relief of distress fund. The car is worth £250.
