DISGUISED AS COW
STUDENTS FLEE FROM RUSSIA Polish guards on the frontier between Poland and Russia saw a herd of cattle peacef ully grazing " on the Russiari side of the frontier under the care of'a single herdsman. Suddehly one cow separated dtself from the herd, and, under the eyes of the Red guards ih spite of the calis -of the herdsmian, gra^ed i,tseM over tlhe frontier. Then, to the astohishiment of the Polish guards, this "cow" split into two, its Iskii^ fell to the ground and two1 y'oun^' men" ran as hard as they could towards the soldidrs. It developed that they were students of the University of Mittsk who had determined to get out of Russia. A previous attempt had been frustrated and they had to serve 10 months in prison, so they used the unique method to make escape certain.
