(Rec. 6.30 p.m.) Bloemfontein, Sept. 2. The Wallabies won the fifth test by defeating South Africa by 15-4 after leading 12-4 at the end of the first spell. The drought-stricken capi- | tal was thronged with visitors and 10,000 attended the match. The Australians opened in a speedy manner and had 12 points up after tlie first 20 niinutes. Malcolm was in oxcellent form and combined well with Sturtbridge. The Spnngboks launched a series of hot attacks hu the Wallabies defence held. E Louw was hurt in the second spell and had to he taken off in a stretcher. The Wallabies were dommating tlie play and the tackhng was ZvL Bridle and Cerrutti were out-
standing among the Wallabies and i the concluding stages, the wondeiful defence of Ross saved his side agam and again. A scene of -th— was witnessed at the final whistle the players exchangmg jerseys and t crowd thronging the gJ'ound- ^ match was even better than the Dur ban melting and South Afnca nevei looked like wmnmg. ^ _
