Havana, September 1 A 60 mile per hour wind, the vanguard of the hurricane which has swept 200 miles of Cuha's northern coast roared through Havana to-day. It crashed in doors, toppled signhoards, damaged roofs, and terrorl ised the populace. Sixteen persons were injured m a tropical storm to-night. Daniage to property in the city was compaiatively Rght. Communicatihns were interrupted on the northern coast of the island, and it is inipossible to learn ihe extent of the damage done.
