RUGBY UNION
GENERAL BUSINESS AT LAST EVENING'S MEETING The weekly meeting of the management committee of the Rotorua Rugby Sub-Union was held in the Citizens' Club last evening. The president, Mr. T. S. Robertson presided over a good attendance of members and defegates. The manager's report on the Matamata game emphasised the'fine showing made by the juniors who had been promoted to senior ranks. This justified the union in dropping older players. Owing to a misunderstanding as to the times of starting of the KaharoaNgongotaha match last Saturday, it was decided to re-play the match this Saturday. Communications were received from the Te Puke Rugby- Union and the .Grammar Old Boys' Club, Auckland, regretting their inability to visit Rotorua this season owing to prior engagements. Marsh, of Rotoiti juniors asked for a transfe-r to another club but this was deferred pending advice of the Rotoiti Glub's dishandment.
