expedition to start from dunedin in october

Auckland, Saturday A short trip to Suva,. preparatory to his departure- for Dunedin, was decided upon by Mr. Lincoln Ellsworth, the leader of the trans-Antarc-tic flight expedition, and he leaves by the Mariposa this afternoon, returning by the Monterey on September 8. Mr. Ellsworth will then go to Christchurch, Mount Cook and Dunedin. He said he expected the Wyatt Earp to reach Dunedin about October 1. His plans provided for the return of the e.xpedition to New Zealand about mid-January, enabling him to be back in New York early in April:
