A FARMER'S DEATH

COLLAPSES AND DIES WHILE FEEDING HIS STOCK Te Kuiti, Saturday. An elderly man named John Barrett, farmer, of Waitanguru, was found dead in a paddock near his house yesterday. It is believed deceased went to the haystack to feed out hay to the cows and collapsed. Mr. Jury, school teacher, knowing deceased had not been well lately, made an investigation, finding Mr. Barrett's body by the haystack. Deceased, who lived alone was about 62 years of age.
