Gisborne, Friday. The women's basketball tourney was continued to-day in fine weather, the following being the results of the day's play: — First Grade : Canterbury 18,, Otago 11; Wellington 19, Hawkes Bay 10-; Auckland 13, Southland 11. Canterbury 20, Hawkes Bay 12; Auckland 20, Otago 12; Wellington 14, Southland 11. Second Grade: Poverty Bay 27, Marlborough 16; South Canterbfiry 17, Manawatu 11; Waikato 25, Wairoa 2. • Poverty Bay 19, South Canterbury 15; Wairoa 16, Manawatu 14; Wairarapa 19, Marlborough 12.
