PRESIDENT ADDRESSES BIG MEETING IN AUCKLAND

Auckland, Friday. The aims and programme of the New Zealand Legion were e-xpound-ed to an audience of about 2000 people in the Auckland Town Hall tonight by the president of the Legion, Dr. Campbell Begg, who spoke on the necessity for Government reform as a basis for measures effecting currency, land and other vital interests of the people. The legion invited the co-operation of public-spirited men and women in framing policies a,nd in examining policy proposals in a manner provided by the legion's constitution. A vote of thanks was accorded Dr. Begg.
