father stanislaus mahoney passes away at wellington

Wellington, Friday. The death oceurred to-day of Father Stanisl'aus Mahoney, who was born in London in 1866. Father Mahoney came to. New Zealand with his parents. He was ordained a priest in 1893, subsequently working at Christchurch, Hokitika, Nelson and Wanganui. He was appolnted parish priest at St. 'Mary of the Angels, Wellington, _ in 1918, where ha has been ever- since.
