Despite the hard times, the use of concrete posts for fencing purposes is on the increase in Hawke's Bay, judging by ohservations made about the district. One of the best hillside fences to be seen in Hawke's Bay is to be found on a property at Poukawa, practically the whole of which has been fenced with the use of concrete posts, with most satisfactory results.
