ST LUKE'S CLUB
MONTHLY DANCE HELD. Despite the adverse weather conditions which prevailed without, a very jolly little dance was held by members of the St. Luke's Girls' Club last Monday evening. Attractive decorations of streamers spring fiowers and pussy willow prevailed in the ballroom, and a cosy log fire provided warmth and comfort in the lounge. Among those present were: — The president, Miss M. Mactier, who wore black ring velvet; Mrs. J. Mewburn, navy satin; Mi*s. J. Hemphill, wine marocaine; Miss N. Allen, crimson crepe romaine; Miss R. Cannell, sh'ell pink satin; Miss K. Murray, black velvet; Miss N. Kelly, midnight blue chiffon velvet; Miss G. Dillon, forget-me-not blue crinkle crepe; Miss M. Williamson, primrose crepe de soie; Miss L. Cruickshank (Te Awamutu), daffodil organdie; Miss J. Fraser, lemon satin; Miss D. Stallard, floral georgette; Miss J. Shaw, ciel blue satin; Miss S. Wilson, black net; Miss O. Beamish, black net; Miss K. Constant, black georgette; Miss MWeal, cameo pink satin; Miss J. Winslade, black lace; Miss D. Hamilton, leaf green marocain; Miss M. Lasenby, embroidered voile.
