WELCOME HOME
EYENING FOR MRS. C. MELLSOP. A jolly welcome-home bridge evening was given for Mrs. C. E. Mellsop, who has just returned from a four nionth^' jhol|da(y in UJon'ojlului and California, at Brents Bathgate House last Thursday. The bridge room was artistically arranged with pink japonica and the guest of the evening was in black lace and georgette with a black and white Chinese coatee. The winner of the progressive bridge was Mrs1. Hammond, of Auckland. Among those present were Mrs. E. La Trohe Hill, Mrs. Hammond (Auckland), Mrs. L. J. Bayfeild, Mrs. H. E. Goodwin, Mrs. W. W. P. Hall, Mrs. F. Thompson, Mrs. F. C. Bunyard, Mrs. Wicks. Miss L. Hawksworth, Miss S. Snodgrass, Miss D. Corlett.
