"NOT THAT SORT"
A BURGLAR OFFENDJED. A polite burglar was caught by Dr. Michael Cronin, of Tottenham, England, going through his dressing-table ' with' a flashlight. Thinking • the burglar was going to hit him, the doctor struck out first. But the man, with a most offended expression, protested that he "was not that sort." The docto'r t'elephoned for the police; arid the burglar, begging, a cigaretfee from him, sat on the stairs smoking . tranquilly. till they arrived.
