FRANKTON There was again a goocl yar llng cf all ciasses of fat sheep at the veekly stcck sale at the Frankton yai Is yesterday. Fat wethers and eves met with good competition and a steady sale resulted with quotations on a l ar with previous week's rates. Thoie was a heavy yarding of ox beef and a good yarding of cow beef. Last week's values were well maintained. Pigs came forward in large numbers and here again prices showed little alteration. Quotations: Sheep, heavy prime wethers, 24s 7d to 26s 3d; medium prime wethers, 22s 6d to 23s lOd; heavy prime ewes, 20s to 21s; medium prime ewes, 17s to 18s 3d; heavy prime hoggets, 18s ld to 19s lOd; medium prime hoggets, 15s 8d to 17s 4d. Beef: Heavy fat bullocks, £6 5s, to £7; lighter fat bullocks, £5 15s; light fat bullocks, £4 10s to £5; heavy fat cows, £3 18s to £4 4s; lighter fat cows, £2 17s 6d to £3 10s; light fat cows, £1 18s 6d to £2 6s. Pigs: Heavy baconers, 34s to 40s; heavy porkers, 26s to 30s.
