VICTORIAN SPORTS MAN HOLDS STRONG OPINION Melbourne, Aug. 22. Mr. MacKinnon, chairman of the Victoria Racing Club, speaking at the annual meeting of the club, said: "Over-racing is killing the. sport. I think Australia has never had a worse lot of horses in 50 years than _ at present, due entirely to over-racing and over-breeding."
